Development Description
Permission for a Large-Scale Residential Development (LRD) comprising amendments to a permitted Strategic Housing Development (SHD) of 753 no. units (ABP-306325-20) at a site located at Lahardane, Ballyvolane, Cork City. The proposed development consists of modifications to the layout and unit types within neighbourhood 2 of the permitted Strategic Housing Development. Specifically, the proposed amendments comprise the following: The replacement of 7no. detached 4-bedroom houses (permitted as Unit Nos. 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34 and 35, all fronting Rathard Avenue) with 6 no. terraced houses (comprising 4 no. 3-bedroom terraced units and 2 no. 2-bedoom terraced units), and 4 no. 3-bedroom semi-detached houses. The proposed modifications will include all associated site works, including alterations to vehicular and pedestrian access arrangements, landscaping, drainage and other ancillary infrastructure within part of Neighbourhood 2.
