Development Description
Planning permission for amendments to the development permitted under Reg. Ref.: FW25A/0349E, as amended by Reg. Ref.: FW26A/0072E, at the Blanchardstown Centre, Blanchardstown Town Centre, Coolmine, Dublin 15. The application site relates to the existing Blue Mall entrance and public plaza area, existing ESB substation, Units 309 and 500 within the Blanchardstown Centre, part of the Leisureplex surface car park, the Blue Mall multi-storey car park entrance area, a section of Road D and associated landscaped area to the south. The proposed amendments comprise the following: • Alterations to the permitted extension, including the amalgamation and reconfiguration of Units 734 and 738 into a single unit (new unit 734) and associated reconfiguration of Unit 735. Associated alterations to the internal layout, elevations, permitted signage zones, outdoor terraces areas, façade materials and fenestration arising from the above; • Amendment to Condition 2 under Reg. Ref.: FW25A/0349E to expand the permitted uses of Units 724 and 808 from café / restaurant to café / restaurant or Recreational / Sports Facility with ancillary retail, restaurant and bar use or Community Facility (all other units remain café/restaurant use); • Alterations to the 2 no. permitted kiosk zones within the external mall plaza area (the overall maximum cumulative area of the kiosk zones not exceeding 224 sq.m remains unchanged); • All associated ancillary amendments, including alterations to the external mall plaza area, the external mall seating, hard and soft landscape areas, alterations to the façade materials, plant screen and risers, foul and surface water drainage and water supply arrangements, and all associated development works; • Amendment to Conditions 15 and 16 under Reg. Ref.: FW26A/0072E to extend the trading hours of the units and the external kiosks areas to the following: - Monday - Sunday: 0700 (7 am) to 0000 hours (12am)
