Development Description
Permission for (a) Demolition of detached residential annex and 1no. bay of existing light industrial warehouse; (b) change of use of existing residential dwelling to hostel reception and lounge area (c) construction of a 2-story vertical extension over existing shop (d) construction of a new-build 3-storey building to south of existing shop and light industrial warehousing to include retail, offices and GP surgery on ground and first floors and hostel accommodation on second floor (e) extension of existing car park to serve proposed development; and (f) block-off 1no. existing site entrance to north and convert 2no. existing site entrances to pedestrian / cycle entrances, and (g) block off 1 no. site entrance to existing car park to N71 together with all associated site works including connections to public drainage services, internal circulation roads, footpaths, car parking / cycle storage, refuse storage, lighting and signage. A Natura Impact Statement (NIS) has been prepared in respect of the proposed development and accompanies this application.
