Development Description
Permission for development which consists of: Planning permission is sought by the Atlantic Technological University for development on a site extending to 0.48 hectares located on the Atlantic Technological University Galway Campus, Murrough, Dublin Road, Galway, H91 T8NW.THE DEVELOPMENT WILL CONSIST OF amendments to the permitted STEM Building development located on the Atlantic Technological University Galway Campus, Murrough, Dublin Road, Galway H91 T8NW. Planning Ref. No. 24/60260. The proposed amendments will consist of the following: 1. Amendment to height of upper roof parapet to accommodate the required services. 2. Increase of metal architectural screening to conceal of rooftop plant. 3. Additional architectural metal screening to the west elevation to conceal services and accommodate external risers. 4. Reduction of EV charging spaces from 3 no. to 2 no. to comply with Traffic Signs Manual requirements. 5. Amendments to the external service buildings. 6. Addition of a glazed enclosure to the external platform lift to comply with EN81-41 and European Machinery Directive requirements. 7. Landscaping revisions due to detailed design development. 8. 7.2sq.m increase to third floor to accommodate required plant.
