Permission for development at a site of approximately 0.1596 hectares located at this site of approximately 0.1596 hectares located at the existing Jerh O'Connor Funeral Home, Townland of Ballincrossig, Hazelwood Centre, Riverstown, Glanmire, Cork. The development will consist of: The demolition of the existing single level Jerh O' Connor Funeral Home building (233 sq m Gross Floor Space) and the construction of a new single level Funeral Home building (404 sq m Gross Floor Space) to include an entrance lobby and foyer, 2 no. reposing rooms, 2 no. family rooms, public facilities (incl. lobbies and toilets), office, and 2 no. storage rooms; Rooftop photovoltaic solar panel array totalling 70 sq m; Signage (1 no. building mounted and 1 no. display board); 8 no. surface car parking spaces ( 1 no. disabled 7 no. regular); 8 no. bicycle parking spaces (2 no. long-term internal staff and 6 no. short-term uncovered external); Raising of site levels, boundary treatments, hard and soft landscaping, services (incl. site drainage accommodation works and underground surface water soakaway/attenuation storage); and All other ancillary infrastructure and associated site development works above and below ground level. Primary vehicular and pedestrian access to the proposed new Funeral Home development will be maintained via an enhanced existing vehicular and pedestrian access from Hazelwood Centre parking area. This planning application is accompanied by a Natura Impact Statement.
